IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Daily Republic Editorial Board Endorses Prop. 53

Adds to over a dozen editorial boards from around California that urge support for Prop. 53

SACRAMENTO, CA – Last week, the Daily Republic editorial board released their endorsements for California’s statewide propositions, advocating for a “yes” vote on Proposition 53.  The measure would simply require a public vote for state megaprojects that use more than $2 billion in state revenue bonds.  It would also increase transparency by ensuring the disclosure of the total cost of a project before the vote.

The Daily Republic endorsement adds to a growing list of editorial support from around the state, including:

  • Los Angeles Daily News
  • Orange County Register
  • Press-Enterprise
  • Long Beach Press-Telegram
  • Torrance Daily Breeze
  • Pasadena Star-News
  • Whittier Daily News
  • San Gabriel Valley Tribune
  • San Bernardino Sun
  • Inland Valley Daily Bulletin
  • Redlands Daily Facts
  • Fox 11 Los Angeles
  • Manteca Bulletin
  • Victorville Daily Press
